You can! Even when you feel your strength ebbing away, and you don’t know how much longer the situation you can bear, you can. As you silence the negative thoughts and noise in your mind, a voice whispers, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” In Him, you are fine. So yes, you can! Even when you feel worn, you are not walking this road alone; neither are you carrying your burdens on your own, but He who promises to never leave us alone. Trust Him and trust yourself, you can. Even through the tears, you can make it through another day. Remember, He’s only a prayer away.
Blue bird He could see she was terrified From falling out of the sky. She kept fluttering About on the ground. Feeling helpless, She began to squeak. She must be injured he thought, As he stepped closer to where she was. One wing was broken, The other was fine. He took her up with both hands And held her gently but firmly. She was in his care Until her wing was fully repaired. Then one day he could see her test The wing that no longer needed rest. She flew to the window sill, And a moment went by No time for goodbye As she took for the skies. That wounded bird was me Because of God’s love, I’m healed and free. I was wounded, and in pain. The tears, I could not restrain. He held me as a shepherd With love and care. He mended what was broken, So I could stand again. He led me to the still waters Where my soul was restored. I will ever be grateful to God For this soul He has touched.
Miracles Some are looking for miracles Great and unimaginable. Some are looking for miracles To say yes, I believe in God. Yes, He does the impossible But not for any applause. Yes, He does the impossible But never to impress us. Even when we don't believe, God's power diminishes not. Even when we don't believe, Miracles He still will wrought. Some are looking for miracles And of them, I am one. I know the greatest of miracles Is fallen mankind reconciled to God.
